bc i think ppl really get caught up in the friendships within the bands and they’re blinded so they think a person leaving a band is “traitorous” like ya i make jokes about them being snakes but every single person who has left sm has the same story about how sm pushed them too far and they just couldn’t keep up bc their health was compromised

i think the members do have loyalty to each other, kris, luhan and tao have defended the members of exo after they left the group, tao just said all the members get along great and he loves them, kris said if he could go back to being 18 in korea he would just last week he released a statement thanking the people who stood by his side while he was with the company, luhan left the actual group on good terms and obviously still speaks with at least a few of them 

do i think that kris and luhan wanted solo careers outside of exo? yeah

do i think they would have stayed with exo if they had more time off and if sm would have given them studios in china like they did with yixing only AFTER they got scared about more members leaving? yeah 

do i think tao even thought for a second about leaving exo before he returned home to china? no i don’t.. all tao ever did was love exo and remain loyal to exo until he just couldn’t anymore until his family told him to cut the shit bc he just couldn’t go on like that 

sometimes u gotta leave ppl 2 be happy and it sucks but that’s LIFE 

i just feel for yixing bc he must really feel caught in the middle of it, i’m pretty sure he said he feels like he needs to prove himself to be trustworthy and that’s just so sad
